Pillars Of Creation in Infrared

This image reveals the star forming region in action. In RGB image the pillars are covered with clouds and dust from the star forming process, but the penetrating power of infrared lights are much more than visible light, so we can see the real action there. You can see the stellar nursery at the top of the leftmost pillar.
