Core of NGC 5838
Early in Hubble's career, before it's optics could be corrected, it was pointed at the cores of galaxies.
I have used Photomatix to extract details hidden by the High Dynamic range of the image.
In the blue minus green the edge of the disk beyond the nucleus can be seen, as can the inner edge on the nearside.
Curiously, the green minus red image has a smaller nucleus.
